Nash Kray-LTs Ltd. (Lutsk), the managing company of the Nash Kray supermarket chain, is planning by late 2009 to open up to 30 new supermarkets, VolWest Group Director General Ihor Ferents has told Interfax-Ukraine.
“We will open five of our own stores and up to 25 franchising stores by the end of the year,” Ferents said at an investment forum organized by Raiffeisen Investment and Raiffeisen Bank Aval in Kyiv.
From January to March 2009 the company opened nine franchising stores, along with two of its own stores in March.
In general, currently the Nash Kray chain includes 59 supermarkets, 29 of which are its own, and 30 franchising stores.
