Franchising.com:

Consistently known as a leader in the child care industry and early childhood education, Primrose Schools, announced plans to open six new schools in the Philadelphia market in the next four years and has identified key communities as part of the company’s franchise development strategy. Primrose has more than 200 schools nationwide.

Primrose is actively seeking motivated individuals to independently own and operate the future schools planned for the Philadelphia market. Each new school will also positively impact the economy by creating approximately 25-30 new jobs and awarding approximately $2.9 to $4.1 million in project costs.

After conducting extensive research, including area demographics and other factors, Primrose found that while the demand for high quality educational child care continues to grow throughout Philadelphia, providers are limited. Meanwhile, many existing Primrose Schools nationwide are seeing solid enrollment numbers, and several schools have wait-lists.

“While there’s a definite need for Primrose Schools in Philadelphia and surrounding communities, we’re taking a careful approach to finding the right franchise owners who share our values,” said Darin Harris, COO of Primrose Schools. “We look for motive, character and business savvy, but even more importantly, we must be absolutely certain that every one of our franchise owners shares the Primrose passion for nurturing children, and for making a difference in the community and in the lives of the families they service in their school.”
