A Canadian businessman who put together financing that kept the Westover Hills development afloat in the early 1990s is working now to see that San Antonio-based Massage Heights moves successfully into Canada.
Company officials said they appointed Peter Thomas as president of Massage Heights Canada to oversee the expansion of the member-based message therapy company into that country.
The company’s expansion strategy calls for 125 Massage Heights franchises to open in Canada during the next five years. A news release said Thomas was scouting sites in British Columbia hoping to break ground on 20 locations in the next six months.
