Ten Cici’s Pizza franchisees have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Texas, including one whose territory includes the Dayton area.
The franchisees listed in the filings include Pizza Partners of Cincinnati LP and Pizza Partners of Ohio Ltd., plus other franchisees in Texas, Maryland, South Carolina, West Virginia, Indiana and Florida. All had a June 28 filing date and listed an address in Dallas as their headquarters.
The Cincinnati franchisee listed assets of $1 million to $10 million, liabilities of $10 million to $50 million and “various locations in Cincinnati.” No other information was provided in the initial filing. Calls to Cici’s headquarters in Coppell, Texas, and to the lawyer listed in the bankruptcy filing were not returned.
