The company behind hit children’s TV show The Fairies is opening “concept” stores in WA and is coming to Perth in the hunt for franchisees.
Founder and managing director Jen Watts said she hoped to open up to 15 WA stores in the next two years following the success of two in South Australia.
The stores offer dance lessons, birthday functions and a retail section selling The Fairies merchandise.
Ms Watts said the most recent store cost the franchisee $200,000 to set up, with franchisees getting an established brand with a “self-marketing ability”.
Ms Watts said she had noticed no slowdown in business in the economic downturn and didn’t expect this to deter potential franchisees. Read full article.
