Steven Gerrard Punch-Up Man: “My Business Is Booming”

The man punched in the face by England footballer Steven Gerrard has come out of his corner to proclaim that his business is booming.

As this picture shows Marcus McGee is grinning like a Cheshire Cat with a full set of teeth despite reports that he lost one in the notorious bar-room brawl.

Marcus has launched a PR campaign to cash in on his new-found fame and to promote his double-glazing repair business.

And Marcus, 34, even claims his firm ‘Cloudy2Clear Windows’ has seen a huge boost in its profits since the beating he suffered at the hands of Gerrard’s six pals.

In a publicity blurb Marcus says his company – which has been trading for three years – has increased its turnover in 2009 by 32 per cent compared to the same period in 2008.

In his first public statement since the bust-up at the Lounge Inn in Southport on 29th December 2008, Marcus claims to have 15,000 satisfied customers.

His firm repairs failed or misted double glazing units and he claims it is growing fast through a franchising operation.
