WA will get an array of new fast-food flavours next year with eastern states franchises set to descend on the west coast.

Tony Maddock, general manager of Franchise Selection, a company that matches franchisors to the right franchisee, said WA had previously been seen as “too hard and too far”.

“There is a lot of interest in WA and the franchise industry is starting to realise that it’s every bit as good a state as any other for franchising,” Mr Maddock said.

“Next year will see a much heightened interest in WA by franchising companies.”

Award-winning franchisor Crust Gourmet Pizza will open in WA next year, with the first store to be operating in Subiaco or Leederville by March.

Mr Maddock said the pizzas were restaurant quality, home delivered.
