In a business sense, entrepreneur Chuck Bongiovanni feels like he has 11 children. His “offspring” are new franchises scattered across the country, in cities such as St. Louis, Houston, Milwaukee and Charlotte, N.C.
Bongiovanni, founder of Gilbert-based CarePatrol Assisted Living Services, says dozens more are on the way.
CarePatrol, founded in January, began 15 years ago under the name Preferred Assistance. The company offers free guidance to help families find assisted-living and in-home care for the elderly.
The company assesses clients’ medical needs, location and finances to match them with assisted-living centers and care providers.
