The Dunkin’ Donuts at 2634 Highway 9 in Boiling Springs apparently has closed.
Customers stopped by for a snack on Thursday, but said they were met by locked doors and an empty store.
Greer-based Kainos Partners LLC, a large Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee that filed a Chapter 11 petition in U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Delaware in June, opened the restaurant in December as part of its plan to develop stores across the Upstate.
Kurt Arens, operations manager for Kainos, did not return phone calls Monday.
The company recently closed its east-side store at 1996 E. Main St. Its locations at 159 S.
