Hamilton Businessman Wins ‘Franchisee Of The Year’ Award

The hard work of a young Hamilton businessman has been recognised with a ‘Franchisee of the Year’ award.

Former Chatelherault Primary School pupil Azeem Arshad took the title in the recent fourth annual Scottish Asian Business of the Year Awards in Glasgow.

The 23-year-old was also runner-up in the ‘Young Achiever of the Year’ category.

Azeem was given the award for his success in running two Baguette Express franchises at two stores in Glasgow – at the Fort and in Renfield Street.

He said this week: “I’m delighted. If you look at the last four years of the awards no-one as young as me has taken such a title.
