Spur Corporation has made a foray into Dubai, and expects to open up in the first half of 2010. Is the debt crisis significant for Spur, and can the Dubai operation continue?
“The Dubai restaurant is a franchised restaurant” and if the franchisee gets into financial trouble they’re on their own, says Financial Director Ronel van Dijk.
She does stress that the franchisee is very excited about the opening, and organised financing a while ago, so the current crisis won’t affect the current plans.
