Lena Margiotta, 91, has a sweet job, both literally and figuratively.
She works about three times a week for the Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company, 6740 Chippewa St. She packs boxes of candy with a wide variety of tasty treats.
“I love what I’m doing,” she said. “I love being with people. I’ve got arthritis, but I always come in when they need me.”
Margiotta is a member of the Abel family, which owns Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate. She is the aunt of Rosalie Abel, the company co-owner. Margiotta started working for the candy company in 1988 when she was 70. Continue reading this story.
