SYS-CON Media:

In response to overwhelming support and positive feedback from Johnny Rocket’s loyal fan base, the international restaurant chain announced today that it will permanently add the new, limited-time only “The Houston” hamburger to its menu in 2010. The spicy twist on Rocket Single hamburger will join the ranks of the “St. Louis,” “Route 66″ and other classic American dishes and be available in all restaurants by spring 2010.

The new fiery, fan-favorite hamburger is made with a combination of mayonnaise, Hot Rocket Fuel sauce and topped off with pepper-jack cheese, wedge lettuce, ripe tomatoes and jalapeno peppers, served on a fresh bun.

“When Johnny Rockets customers speak, we listen,” said Lee Sanders, CEO of Johnny Rockets. “With the input of East Coast Franchisee, Jason Sugarman, and West Coast Franchisee, Mary Khalighian, we have developed a fusion of fun ingredients to create the flavor profile for ‘The Houston,’ which exemplifies what we do best at Johnny Rockets – provide cravable, quality food. We look forward to giving all customers a chance to ‘tame the flame’ and enjoy this spicy twist on the Rocket Single in 2010.”
