Baltimore City Paper:

Elevation Burger (1006 Aliceanna St.), the all-organic, grass-fed, ethically-minded burger chain has closed its store in Harbor East, The Baltimore Sun’s food blog Dining@Large reported Wednesday. Sun restaurant critic Elizabeth Large wrote that the location will re-open Feb. 15 as an as yet unnamed deli and pizza joint.

A call to Elevation’s corporate headquarters in Arlington, Va. yielded the following statement via e-mail from Elevation partner Michael Berger:

Despite the Harbor East Baltimore, MD Elevation Burger being a profitable location, the franchisee decided to close the business for personal reasons. We agreed with him that closing was the best option for all parties involved.
