Hesperia Star:
Sizzler Restaurant’s scheduled January opening may signal a renewed optimism in the local business community, according to a City of Hesperia official.
“It’s a sign that hopefully things are turning around,†said Kim Summers, assistant to City Manager Mike Podegracz.
The restaurant, which closed early last year, will reopen freshly remodeled with an updated look and atmosphere.
“It will be a prototype for the new Sizzlers,†Summers said.
The restaurant is owned by a new franchisee, BMW Management, whose CEO Gary Myers believes Hesperia restaurant-goers will enjoy the new amenities.
