Shoebox In The Caribbean

Shoebox New York recently bowed its first franchised store in Palm Beach Plaza in Aruba, parent company NexCen Brands Inc. announced Tuesday.

“With the opening of this Shoebox New York franchised store, we are delighted to introduce this retail concept in Aruba,” Kenneth Hall, CEO of NexCen, said in a statement. “As we continue to extend the global footprint of our franchised brands, we look forward to exploring additional opportunities throughout the Caribbean.”

Last year, NexCen, which owns the retail chain with The Camuto Group, opened stores in the Middle East and Africa and revealed plans to bow more in those areas over the next few years.
