UFood Restaurant Group Inc. has opened a location in Dallas’ Parkland Memorial Hospital, in a space previously occupied by McDonald’s.
“Parkland has kept the Dallas community healthy for more than 115 years and offering nutritious meals for our hospital’s patients, visitors and staff is an important part of that mission,” John Haupert, chief operating officer of Parkland Health & Hospital System, said. “UFood Grill certainly fits that mold.”
UFood Restaurant Group Inc.’s Texas franchisee Puente Concessions Inc. won a competitive bid process to be the new food vendor at Parkland Memorial Hospital. Puente Concessions operates a UFood Grill Restaurant in Terminal B of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and will operate both UFood Grill and an Urban Taco at the Parkland location.
