Restaurant Chain Expands In Central Valley

Central Valley Business Times:

The Farmer Boys Restaurant chain is expanding northward in the Central Valley with the opening later this month of a restaurant in Riverbank in Stanislaus County.

It is the 67th location for the franchise and the first in the Modesto area. The other Valley restaurants are in Tulare, Bakersfield (2), Hanford and Clovis. There are 67 stores in all, most in Southern California. The company, founded in 1981, has been franchising since 1998.

For its owners, Joseph Sadek and Omar Mawas, it is their third franchise under the Farmer Boys logo, with the others in Fontana and Escondido.
