Fast-Food Diet? Ask Not For Whom The Taco Bell Tolls

Move over, Hollywood Cookie Diet, there’s a new fad in town and it’s pulling out all the stops. Long have we awaited the moment when we could eat fast food and watch those pounds just melt away. Eagerly have we pursued the idea of sedentarily eating as much lard as possible while still maintaining the physique of a Russian gymnast. Well, wait no longer folks: The Taco Bell Drive–Thru Diet is coming at us faster than you can say “Yo quiero Taco Bell.”

According to the new Taco Bell commercials, a spiffy-looking woman by the name of Christine recently lost more than 50 pounds by munching on Taco Bell fresco items.

A svelte Christine leaps onto the TV screen, playing up the idea that Taco Bell is the key to weight loss success. And to think: All this time we thought it just came down to good nutrition and exercise? Silly, naive us.
