Dallas-based nonfat frozen yogurt company Red Mango will close to quadruple its national reach this year, opening 219 locations with 42 new franchisees.
The business founded in 2007 signed a deal last year to open six Austin area stores. San Antonio entrepreneur Ramiro Valadez III will run the local franchises in Austin, Round Rock and Georgetown. The first location will open early this year near the University of Texas, officials said.
Other new locations will open this year in California, Utah, Nevada, Washington, Illinois, New York, Arkansas, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, Louisiana, Minnesota,Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C.
