Highland Heights To Get Camp Bow Wow Dog Daycare

The city will soon be going to the dogs.

That is, the dogs of Camp Bow Wow.

A potential franchisee is readying for the March opening of the daycare for dogs at 31 Alpha Park.

On Monday, the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission approved the franchise holder a use permit and a variance allowing for dogs to play outdoors.

“We’re working with the city and (Planning and Zoning Commission) and going over their concerns,” said Evan Klotzman, marketing manager for Alpha Park, Inc., the property management firm for Alpha Park. “This would be the first location for this particular franchisee.”

Ward 3 Councilman Bob Mastrangelo brought news of the request for dog daycare use to City Council at its meeting Jan. 26. More.
