On Thursday, Feb. 25, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., ScoreBergen will present a workshop for entrepreneurs who are considering either purchasing and operating a franchise or franchising their current business. The workshop will be held at IKEA’s Paramus store at the junction of routes 4 and 17.
In addition to dispelling common myths and misconceptions about franchising, the workshop will help attendees determine whether buying a franchise is appropriate for them, identify and research a franchise opportunity, understand the major components of a franchise agreement, understand the legal obligations of owners and franchisers and understand the financing options
The presenter is Frank Dunne of FranNet. The cost is $20 for attendees who register in advance or $25 at the door. Additional participants in the same party pay $10 each.
