Expanding a more than 14-year relationship, Mac’s Convenience Stores, a subsidiary of Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., and Seattle’s Best Coffee LLC, part of Starbucks Corp., have entered into an agreement for Mac’s to exclusively brew Seattle’s Best Coffee in Ontario in the convenience store channel. As part of this agreement, Mac’s will expand its offering of Seattle’s Best Coffee from its current 290 stores across four provinces in Western Canada to another 600 locations across Ontario.
“We’re confident this relationship will enable us to meet the growing expectation of our customers for premium coffee,” said Kim Trowbridge, vice president of operations for Mac’s Western and Central Divisions.
“Seattle’s Best Coffee will be a key anchor to our foodservice program and will establish Mac’s as a coffee destination,” said George Kioussis, director of national procurement for Couche-Tard Canada.
