Mazzio’s LLC is ready to start franchising its two restaurants across the country after spending the last six months prepping the business.
The Tulsa-based chain plans to expand outside of the region and has signed Alexandria, Va.-based franchise developer Fransmart to help.
Mazzio’s CEO Greg Lippert said the deal helps the chain penetrate areas of the country where it doesn’t have connections.
“When you’re trying to grow the franchise side of the business, trying to reach out to new franchisee partners, Fransmart can offer a quicker route,” he said.
Fransmart handles franchising for nine regional and international restaurant chains, none of which operate in Oklahoma.
