It has been at least a year and a half the company has been trying to find a franchisee to open a sports bar and restaurant in the city. Representatives will be back here again next week to meet with interested parties and hold a public information session.
Chris Doulos, the director of business development, said the lengthy search for a franchisee has been frustrating, but the company is being very diligent in terms of who they want to run it. He said it is not just about finding somebody or a group who has the money to invest, it has to be the right fit for the community.
“We are looking for someone who is local to the community,†he said. “We get very involved as a business. We hire 80 to 100 staff members and we have a lot of charity events and the store gets involved with the community.
