Dallas News:
A U.S. Small Business Administration program to help small businesses obtain loans at more favorable terms has been extended again, this time through April 30.
The agency estimates the extra $40 million will fund about $1.4 billion in loans. President Barack Obama signed legislation Friday extending fee waivers and higher guarantees for the SBA’s 7a and 504 loans.
SBA Administrator Karen Mills said Monday that the increased guarantee and reduced fees have helped make possible more than $23 billion in loans to small businesses.
