Smashburger Will Donate $1 From Each NorCal Smashburger Sold, April 10 -16

7thSpace Interactive:

Smashburger is jumping right in to support local community efforts by partnering with Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS). From April 10-16, 2010 Smashburger in Citrus Heights, 5500 Sunrise Blvd ., will donate $1 from each sale of its new NorCal Smashburger to SFBFS to support the organization’s mission to help area residents in need.

The NorCal Smashburger was developed exclusively for the Northern California region and debuts on March 31, 2010 with the opening of the first Northern California location in Citrus Heights. The NorCal Smashburger features brie cheese, applewood smoked bacon, sliced balsamic-marinated tomatoes, grilled onions, lettuce and mayo on a sourdough bun.

Named for the cooking method used to create the perfect burger, Smashburgers start at $3.99 and are a one-fourth, one-third or half-pound ball of 100-percent-fresh, not frozen, Certified Angus Beef smashed on a flat grill to sear in all the juicy flavor. To further the “better burger” experience, Smashburgers are served on a toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of real cheeses, the freshest produce, and top-quality condiments.
