Bookkeeping Company Seeks Expansion Into Cumberland County

A Virginia-based bookkeeping company is looking for franchisee candidates to set up shop in Cumberland County.

Greg Jones, CEO of Bookkeeping Express (BKE), on Friday said the county would likely serve as one “territory” in which small businesses would serve as clients.

The company with locations across the United States also seeks to open franchises in Atlantic, Salem and Cape May counties, he said.

BKE offers an array of services through certified bookkeepers. They include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, check cutting, and others, “everything except taxes and auditing,” Jones said.

The company markets those services as a way to free entrepreneurs from bookkeeping drudgery and allow them to focus on growing their ventures. Read more.
