Canada-based Sunshine Grounds Care and The Dwyer Group have formed a business agreement to market franchises in the United States under the brand of The Grounds Guys. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The Grounds Guys franchises offer lawn care, landscaping and maintenance services — a complementary line of business to the residential and commercial target customers that The Dwyer Group’s existing concepts already serve. The Dwyer Group’s brands include Aire Serv, Glass Doctor, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Rooter and Rainbow International.
The franchise opportunity includes a $26,000 franchise fee and features business training and support, a centralized call center, complete accounting systems, preferred discounts on equipment, insurance, marketing support, credit card processing, proprietary software for estimates and invoicing and a year-round business approach that takes advantage of all seasons.
