Jersey Mike’s Subs Franchise Opens Second Maryland Store

‎Franchising.com:

Next week in Germantown, Jersey Mike’s Subs will open its second Maryland store in seven weeks. Jersey Mike’s owner Danny Malamis knows the importance of community relations and will celebrate ties with the area when he holds a grand opening on April 14. Malamis opened his first store in Laurel, Md. in February. The company’s authentic Northeast style subs are now available in most major metro markets across the country.

To commemorate the event, the new restaurant, located at Milestone Center, 21040-F Frederick Road, is hosting a 5-day fundraiser from Wed., April 14 through Sun., April 18, with proceeds supporting the Germantown Volunteer Fire Department. Anyone who has a fundraising coupon can get a free regular size cold sub with a minimum $1 donation. Coupons are being distributed throughout the community and in local newspapers.

“With this fundraiser, we want to continue the ripple effect — contributing to people who, in turn, contribute to others,” said Malamis, who is also a company Area Director for the Baltimore/Washington D.C./North Virginia region. “In Laurel, we raised over $1,000 for the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department and we challenge our neighbors in Germantown to raise even more for our local volunteers!”
