It may sound corny, but entrepreneur Heidi Ganahl thinks she’s found a business idea to make her customers howl with delight.
Four-legged customers, that is. And also their human owners, who pay the bills.
Ganahl is the founder of Camp Bow Wow, a doggy day and overnight center that she started in 2000 in Denver. She began franchising the business in 2003.
“I grew up with dogs and I was also very entrepreneurial,” said Ganahl, who appeared at Camp Bow Wow in Cherry Hill recently to give a morale boost to the local owners and meet fans.
“I had three big dogs,” she explained. “I wanted a day care that I would want for my dogs – a guilt-free place.” Read more.
