Komala’s Restaurants, the South Indian fast food chain from Singapore, entered India with master franchisee Primary Cuisine
Pvt Ltd in April. The first outlet, measuring 3,000 sq.ft, has opened at High Street Phoenix, Mumbai.
The company plans to roll out wo more company-owned outlets in 2010 and seven more outlets in 2011 across western and northern India. As master franchisee, Primary Cuisine Pvt Ltd will roll out the first few outlets followed by a subsequent sub-franchisee model with a preference or multi-unit franchisees in major Indian metros.
