Franchising.com:

Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection, has today announced its Northampton territory is on the market for the first time in 17 years. The compact area is area made up of both town and rural geography and has been run as a profitable business since 1993.

“Using a proven system, our Card Connection franchisees select from more than 1,200 high-quality greetings cards to place ranges in retail outlets on a ‘consignment’ basis,” explains Andrew Cutler, sales director of Card Connection. “This means the stock and display equipment is installed on free loan to the retailer and they only pay for what they sell.

“This consignment sales model creates a ‘win-win’ situation for the retailers and has proved particularly popular over the years,” continues Cutler. “Our franchisees now supply convenience stores, sub post offices, petrol station forecourts and staff restaurants in large offices across the UK. We also supply numerous national accounts, including: Costcutter, Londis, Netto, Budgens, Spar and Haldanes.
