Graeter’s Buying Out Columbus/Dayton Franchisee

Cincinnati Business Courier:

Graeter’s Inc. said Friday it will acquire 15 Graeter’s stores in Columbus and Dayton, operated by its largest franchisee.

The ice cream and confectionery company said it will buy the 11 Columbus and four Dayton locations from Superior Tasting Products LLC, operated by Maury Levine and Clay Cookery. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed, and the deal is expected to close in early June.

Graeter’s said in a news release that the two franchisees, who have run Graeter’s stores for more than 20 years, decided to sell the franchise.
