As soon as Cynthia Booth heard about the financial training that McDonald’s Corp. was offering its employees, she knew she had to seize the opportunity.
“A happy financial home makes a happy employee,” said Booth, CEO of Blue Ash-based Cobco Enterprises, a franchisee for six Tri-State McDonald’s restaurants. “If you are worried about how to pay an expense at home, you’re not always focused at work. Now when they’re at work, they can focus on taking care of our customers.”
A former banker turned McDonald’s franchisee, Booth made the training mandatory for staffers and even paid them to attend.
