Finding The Right Franchise

Building a business from the ground up might be an entrepreneur’s ambition, but an advocate of franchising believes using an established company’s business model will increase chances of success than starting from scratch.

President and Founder of the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators and Developers Andy Ingraham said there are many advantages in franchising as opposed to creating an original company especially in this current economic climate. The built-in customer base that it provides and the new consumers that it can attract based on the reputation of a particular brand will put aspiring businesspersons in a position to succeed.

“Franchising gives you a set of standards that no matter where you go in the world, the way they prepare a sub is the same and the way they design a room is the same,” Ingraham said. “Most Bahamians could benefit from franchising if they could identify great brands, put them in operation and be able to get the customer in and out.” Full article.
