Flip Flop Shops is exposing its toes in the Dallas/Forth Worth metro area. The only lifestyle retail franchise to capture the essence of the flip flop connoisseur way of life, Flip Flop Shops recently opened its first local shop in Hurst at 1101 Melbourne St. Ste 1000 in the North East Mall.
“Flip flops have evolved into a premium lifestyle necessity, and Flip Flop Shops was created to fill the void in the retail industry,” said Mike Goff (Size 11), who co-owns and operates the shop with his wife, Kim (Size 8). “We offer local consumers an opportunity to indulge in all the hottest brands and latest styles at their leisure, with expert product knowledge right at their finger tips. We make finding the perfect flip flop a cinch!”
In addition to the Hurst location, plans call for significant expansion of this one-of-a-kind, laidback brand throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Already, three additional Flip Flop Shops owners are set to open locations between now and spring 2011 throughout the Metroplex, with the first two slated for this summer, one at Galleria Dallas and the other at NorthPark Center. The Goff’s also plan to open a second Flip Flop Shops later in the year in Orlando, Fla.
