Jim’s Group Targets Trades Sector For Expansion

The Jim’s Group is targeting the trades arena, expanding its divisions by rebranding successful firms, and has appointed a previous franchisee to a new national office role in regional franchise sales to help build these new sectors.

According to Jim’s Group founder Jim Penman, the latest business targets are not national brands or one-man businesses but medium sized firms, with four to 40 employees, and a desire to take on the market leaders.

Chief operating officer at the Jim’s Group, Richard Reid, told Franchising the strategy to rebrand existing businesses had started with an Adelaide firm, Metropolitan Plumbing, which has set up a Jim’s Plumbing division. Read more.
