Hands On Hartford And Local Subway Franchisee To Present “Cookies For A Cause,” July 22

Hartford Courant:

Following a successful run of the “Cookies for a Change” project this past April, and its pilot program last year, Hands On Hartford and a local Subway franchisee will team up again to present “Cookies for a Cause” at two Subway locations in downtown Hartford. Those who visit the Subway at 65 Asylum Ave. and 493 Main St. on July 22 will get a free cookie when they leave some change. Proceeds will benefit Hands On Hartford.

“This project is part of an ongoing, creative collaboration between Subway and Hands On Hartford,” said Kapil Taneja, Subway franchise owner. “Our organization believes strongly in making a difference in the community. This project is one of the ways we’re making that happen.”

“We are absolutely thrilled with this Subway franchisee’s willingness to collaborate on this unique and very effective project,” said Doug Sudell, chief executive officer, Hands On Hartford. “This is an excellent way to raise awareness about the work that Hands On Hartford is engaged in, and it rewards Subway customers for their contributions.”
