Fazoli’s Shuts It Doors

Danville Commercial News:

Fazoli’s closed its doors Monday morning to the surprise of its manager, employees and the community.

Kevin Freeland, area Fazoli’s district manager, confirmed employees were notified early Monday that the Danville Italian fast-food restaurant location is now permanently closed. It had been open for business this past weekend.

Brad Ritter, Fazoli’s spokeperson, said around 20 people were employed at the store.

Ritter said the Danville store was a franchised restaurant, owned by a franchisee who lives outside of the Danville area. That franchisee also owned the Champaign and Normal Fazoli’s stores. Those stores will remain open, but will now be owned and operated by the Fazoli’s parent company, not the franchisee.
