After Just 7 Months, Arby’s Closes In Landmarked Gage & Tollner Space

Brooklyn Daily Eagle:

Open just seven months, the new Arby’s on Fulton Mall in Downtown Brooklyn is closing.

First reported on Brownstoner.com on Wednesday, the historic and landmarked Gage & Tollner restaurant space at 372 Fulton St. will be empty again.

With some calling it the world’s most beautiful Arby’s and others believing the space must be haunted, several blogs commented on the effort it took to get the approvals from the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC).

Said Eater.com, “Maybe an actual independent restaurateur could give it a shot.”
