Lolly Chain Founder Takes Out Franchise Award

Inside Retailing:

The founder of chocolate boutique Lollypotz was named the Franchise Woman of the Year in NSW-ACT Excellence in Franchising Awards in Sydney on Thursday night.

Louise Curtis, founder, MD and franchisor of Lollypotz company took out the state award and will now compete with winners from other states for the national title.

Curtis says her vision was to establish a business that would not only fill a niche, but be an attractive franchise opportunity for women – particularly those with children at home who have limited opportunities to run a standard format business.

In only a couple of years she has turned Lollypotz into a 28-outlet strong business, picked up two Telstra Business Awards – and at the same time, raise a young family.
