ZooHoo’s Eatery, a Wilmington, VT-based mobile food concept was lauded today by Governor James Douglas (VT), who was on-hand to cut the ceremonial ribbon marking the company’s grand opening. The company recently completed its franchise development program and is beginning to grant single-unit and multi-unit franchises. The unique mobile food service franchise is the first of its kind to offer a fast-casual dining experience to customers using a custom designed food trailer.

The owners of ZooHoo’s Eatery are Adam and Karen Grinold, who Governor Douglas described as “having tremendous potential with connecting to local farmers and food providers through the Vermont Fresh Network,” Douglas said. “Their creativity could make them the next Ben and Jerry’s,” he added. Governor Douglas previously presented the Grinolds with the Brattleboro Development Corporation’s 2009 first place business plan award recognizing their outstanding concept.
