PR-USA.net:

The International Institute for Franchise Education (IIFE) announced today the agenda for its fifth annual Emerging Franchisor Conference (EFC). The conference, designed specifically for executives from emerging franchise systems, will be held November 11-12, 2010 at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship in Ft. Lauderdale.

“IIFE is proud of our continued commitment to bringing together top executives in franchising to discuss the status of today’s business environment and how to develop and implement successful franchise development strategies,” said Cheryl R. Babcock, CFE, founding director of IIFE. “The format of our conference lends itself to open discussions and exchanging of ideas focused on emerging franchise systems with 300 or fewer franchisees.”

Shelly Sun, CFE, Co-Founder and President of BrightStar, a full-service healthcare-staffing agency that provides the full continuum of care, will be the conference’s keynote speaker. Sun, who was named the IFA’s 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year, began franchising with her husband JD in 2005, and has grown BrightStar from one company-owned store to over 160 locations in 31 states. Sun plans to have 400 franchise locations sold by the end of 2011.
