Franchise business Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse in Keilor Park was visited by Victorian Small Business Minister Joe Helper as part of a celebration
of the 15,000th employee to undertake the Skills For Growth program, an initiative followed by 3000 businesses.
Joe Helper said “Skills For Growth provides tailored training for small to medium sized businesses that will benefit the company and develop the skills of their staff and its clear Victorian businesses agree by signing up.â€
Working with Skills For Growth has enabled Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses to train its existing workforce to become competent across many areas of the business rather than just in one area, resulting in a more adaptable and confident workforce.
