Michael Baker’s
column yesterday “A Blockbuster’s grand finale” has caused considerable angst among the Australian Blockbuster franchisee community and may have also misled both your readers and our customers.
He talks about the bankruptcy which has befallen Blockbuster in the US and poses the question: “Is Blockbuster in Australia in similar peril?” He then goes on to say that some people believe the Australian market is somehow different, but Baker claims the reasons for such an opinion are unclear.
