Colchester Dunkin’ Donuts Franchisees Donate $11,000 To Colchester Volunteer Fire Department

Hartford Courant:

As part of its commitment to the local community, The Veneziano Franchisee Group of Dunkin’ Donuts, has donated $11,000 to the Colchester Volunteer Fire Company. The Colchester Dunkin’ Donuts raised the donation by selling a complete line of Dunkin’ Donuts beverages including both hot and iced coffee at the recent Hebron Fair. All of the proceeds from the sale were donated to the local Colchester Fire Company. “The real thanks should go to the fine men and women of the Colchester Hayward Fire Company. They not only volunteer their service to the community; they commit their time at the fair to help raise this money for their fire company” said George Veneziano.

Each year, the local Colchester firefighters switch from manning the firehouse to manning a Dunkin’ Donuts serving station at the Hebron Fair.
