According to estimates of ‘World Health Organization’ more than 6 percent of India’s population suffers from acute or progressive hearing loss. 2 to 4 out of 1000 babies are born with hearing loss and can be treated ideally at 3 months of age. Nine out of ten such cases of hearing loss can be treated with hearing aid.
