Edmonton-area shoppers will get another option for stocking the larder as Clancy’s Meat Co. opens its first store in the city in December.
The Vancouver-based fresh and frozen foods retailer is expanding from its eight-store base in British Columbia with new stores planned as far east as Ontario.
The stores are franchises run by local owner-operators and average about 1,600 square feet in size.
Franchisee Richard Helwing is opening the first Clancy’s in Edmonton’s Terwillegar area in a former Movie Gallery store.
