Texas-based Dickey’s Barbecue
, the largest barbecue chain in the country, is well-known for their hot pit-smoked barbecue meats, free ice cream and free big yellow cups — with a strong presence in Texas, the franchise is expanding, opening a new location in Rowlett at 1700 Dalrock Rd.
Dickey’s is growing at a rapid pace, with 130 locations in 30 states. The company’s annual growth rate over the past two years is averaging 35 percent, according to officials.“People in Texas obviously love Dickeys and our other locations have done really well, so we wanted to continue our success in Rowlett,†said franchise owner Sami Ebrahim. “I know Dickey’s will be received well in Rowlett. Rowlett is a great place to do business.â€
